Something that I have never understood, but hope to one day, is how someone can invest oneself fully into something despite the ever impending chance of failure.  The sheer possibility of failing is enough to steer the average person away from even attempting to take that chance.  Today people most often choose the most logical life course based on what is expected.  Drive, courage, desire, or lunacy; are these some of the few words that can only begin to grasp the feeling one has when they take that leap into the unknown, to take another course, one that isn’t expected.  If those are the driving force behind people taking that risk, I only wish that everyone had that chance to fail, or, flourish.
