Miami Horror - Holidays Feat. Alan Palomo.

Summertime.

As Summer vacation comes to an end thoughts of sunny days, warm nights, green grass, sleeping in and staying out late slowly fade.  Though yours truly is not currently enrolled in school, regardless of who you are, Summer has always been a symbol of temporary freedom.  Maybe you did work a summer job, take a class or two, but summer was still an illusion of escape from the every day routine that lurks with us over the course of the year.  Summertime is associated with the word “vacation”, and rightfully so.  We’ve all had our “vacation” (some of us, a longer break than others), but now is the time when we as Americans need to strive to do not good, but great.  In the mean time, here’s a tune my friend Alex Kim showed me.  It’s been a while since I have heard much Miami Horror, and it’s a shame.  Their funky sound is one that goes hand in hand with summer.  Better late than never I guess.

Tiesto - Escape Me (Avicii Remix)

It’s been a while but I am going to, like I stated yesterday, begin to actually post things on here once again.  One of the most frustrating parts of being away for so long was my inability to obtain new tracks via ChemicalJump or any of the other numerous blogs that bring us new tunes on a regular basis.  The day I arrived home, needless to say, I ran train on all of those websites.  I went through 7 months of back music, all new to me, and it was as close to Christmas as you can come in August.  I got up from the computer with 200+ new tracks that were all brand new to me.  So, though this may be old to you, it’s still fresh to my ears and thus, an amazing fucking track.  Prior to leaving, I had never heard of Avicii, Porter Robinson, Mord Fustang, or The M Machine.  Now, I can say I have some favorite new artists to keep a special eye out for.  Today, I leave Avicii.

Ya Digg?

Oh Tumblr, it’ been too long.  But, with time generally comes new people, places, and in this case tunes.

I never thought the day would come in which I will have a song with the name “Tiesto” in my top 25 most played.  Tiesto and Diplo have teamed up to create a song unlike anything Tiesto has ever made.  I will hold my applause until I can figure out just how much he contributed to the creation of this beast of a song.  I am sure that you will all hear this one in the clubs VERY soon.

Dem Slackers & Fake ID - Working Title

Wow.  This new track released on Chemical Jump is absolutely mad.  Dem Slackers and Fake ID are pretty well known in the remix community, but most of you probably have never heard of them.  Take this as a lesson; they are here, and here to release tracks to make your ears bleed.  They give us this corroboration that is in stride with my love for Lemonade (Boys Noize/Erol Alkan) and the newest Bloody Beetroots track, Domino.  Well done DJ’s, well done.  From what I have heard from 2010 so far, it should be a rich year for the Electronic community.  Yay us.

Lemonade

Wow.  Ever since the teaming of turntable heros, Boys Noize and Erol Alkan, not a single track has been a let down.  Thanks to Chemical Jump  I was all over this song the day of its release.

Boys Noize and Erol Alkan give us, no, bless us with this track titled Lemonade.  It serves to be in contention for my favorite track of 2010, and will be a new top played in my itunes without a doubt.

We gave them lemons…and they managed to give us the most ELECTRIC glass of lemonade any of us will ever have.

Fake Blood - Mars (Player Player’s 95 Jump Mix)

Fake Blood

Well, Thursday is almost here and as many of you who know me may already have heard, I will be attending the Fake Blood DJ set at Club Beta in Denver.  It should make for a night to remember.  My list of DJ’s to see before I die is getting shorter by the month.

Sadly, due to the strict copyright laws, I am unable to share with you Fake Bloods latest banger, I think I like it.  So, I will instead share with you my personal favorite remix of Fake Bloods major hit, Mars.

Enjoy

Once again, Don Rimini doesn’t let us down with his newest track, Kung-Fu.

With a funky mix of bass and vocals, he gives us a track worth bumping anywhere from our car, to the clubs.

Gotta show some love for Biggie.  A fairly old remix of Miley Cyrus’ Party in the USA and Biggies Party and Bullshit.

Took me ages to find this song.  Heard it at the very end of The Crookers set at Zouk.  Instantly fell in love.
